Connect this channel to any HTTP API. Inbound polls map the API into drops; outbound pushes finalized drops to the API. The method, body and field mapping are configured by you; secrets are stored encrypted.
When enabled, Newzy refreshes the access token before it expires (JWT) or after an auth error, using the refresh token and endpoint below. The API secret above is the access token; store the refresh token separately.
Map external_id (required, dedupe key) plus any drop fields.
Optional. Dot path to each item's last-modified timestamp; used to decide whether a remote or a local edit wins. Leave empty to always let the remote poll win.
When on, a previously-synced drop that is missing from a complete poll is moved to trash. Make sure the inbound query returns ALL posts (raise its page size), otherwise paginated-out posts can be trashed by mistake.
At due date: the post is sent when pub_date_time_start arrives (use for APIs without native scheduling). Immediately: the post is sent as soon as it is finalized, passing the future date to the API so it schedules natively.
Selected fields are available as {{field}} placeholders (JSON-encoded).
For APIs that need media uploaded first: matching drop assets are pre-uploaded (up to 10; reusing this connection's auth), then exposed to the asset body template as {{uploaded_asset}}, {{uploaded_assets}}, and optional helpers like {{image_embeds}} / {{buffer_assets}}.
Optional in signed-URL mode when left empty: Newzy mints a temporary Supabase signed URL and injects {{asset_url}} / {{buffer_assets}} into the asset body template (e.g. Buffer createPost). Required for binary mode (Bluesky) and for Instagram-style pre-upload when a separate upload endpoint is used.
The asset's temporary signed URL is available as {{asset_url}}; selected drop fields ({{text}}, {{image_alt}}, ...) are available too.
Platform-agnostic: reference {{uploaded_assets}} (array) or {{uploaded_asset}} (first). Helpers: {{image_embeds}} (alt+image rows), {{asset_url}} / {{asset_urls}}, {{buffer_assets}}. Drops without an asset fall back to the request body template above.
Dot path into the create response to read the new post's id. Required to later edit or delete the post.
Text/schedule only — omit {{buffer_assets}} so existing Buffer media is preserved.
Used when the drop has media or media was removed. References {{buffer_assets}} (empty array clears Buffer media).
Exposes {{external_post_id}}. Note: many platforms only allow deleting scheduled/draft posts, not already-published ones.
